LEARNING EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

A bit about me...
I've lived in a few different places over the years - France, Morocco and the UK mostly - and I've dabbled in a few things...from a physical theatre course and a job inspecting Eurostar in Paris, to teaching English and drama to kids in Rabat. Finally though, the paths I took led me back to the UK, and to north London where I qualified as a teacher, put down roots and now enjoy the thrills and spills of life with two little ones.

After nearly 20 years in education, I was ready for a new challenge - one that combined my love of language, learning and creativity. Before making the full transition to learning design, I spent two years with Oak National Academy, reviewing and editing their primary and secondary English curriculum. This role deepened my experience in curriculum design, quality assurance and cross-team collaboration, while strengthening my eye for clarity, consistency and learner engagement.
My teaching background gives me a deep understanding of how people learn, while my experience as a certified copywriter (you can browse my copywriting portfolio here) sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, structure ideas effectively and keep learners (and readers) engaged.

As a Learning Designer, I bring together pedagogy, storytelling and design to create learning that not only looks good - but makes sense, sticks and sparks curiosity.

I’m always open to new collaborations and projects that make learning more effective, more human and genuinely enjoyable.
